Hello and welcome! I am truly excited to be working alongside Christ in molding the lives of your precious ones at Valley Adventist Christian School. With God's guidance, I'm sure this year will be filled with enormous successes for my 2-4 grade brilliant students!
I am a graduate of CSUSB and the University of Redlands where I received Bachelor of Arts degrees in Liberal Studies and Human Development, then my Masters degree in Education with a specialization in Special Education. In addition to teaching in various school districts, I have served as an independent education consultant and owned my own business as an instructor of sign-language programs for infants & toddlers. My husband and I have one beautiful daughter and a very furry rabbit. When I am not teaching, I love spending time with my family playing trivia games & traveling. I also LOVE to sing to the glory of God. I pray that my singing habit rubs off on my students as almost EVERYTHING in my class turns into a song!
My goal is to facilitate a learning environment which will inspire and encourage your child to do his/her best each time they pass through my door. Honestly, what gives me the greatest joy in teaching is to observe when students have an "A-HA!" moment. It's that moment when they just...get it! May God give us all many "A-HA" moments each day.
